Art Domain's Who's Who in Visual Art is exclusively dedicated to the field of the Fine Arts and provides accurate, concise
biographies of artists from every significant field of endeavor.
The very first publication came onto the market in 2006 in German language: Who's Who in Visual Art - 100 Künstler der
Medien Malerei, Grafik, Digitalkunst, Skulptur. Additionally an English volume had been published from 2008, mainly aimed to
cover the international art market: Who's Who in Visual Art - 100 Artists in Painting, Graphic Arts, Digital Arts, Sculpture.
In 2011 the program was extended to one more (bilingual) title to cover artists in the anologue and digital photography scene:
Who's Who in Visual Art - Fine Art Photographers.
Since 2012 Who's Who in Visual Art - 100 Artists in Painting, Graphic Art, Digital Art, Sculpture is produced as a comprehensive
bilingual book, too, in order to enhance the book’s marketability and distribute the book in all German- and English-speaking
countries worldwide. Since 2017 the edition is published under the changed title Who's Who in Visual Art - 100 Top Fine
Artists.
2012 was further the publishing date for a third title: Who's Who in Visual Art - Masters of Realistic Imagery, to offer
orientation and a clearly defined selection of protagonists of photorealism, hyperrealism, fantastic realism, surrealism, and classical
realism.
A fourth title in the publishing program, Who's Who in Visual Art - 100 Artsisans, Craftspeople and Designers, which is
dedicated to the variety of artisan creations, appeared in late 2015 with its first edition.
All volumes in the series of Who's Who in Visual Art have a limited number of up to 100 entries. They contain accurate, concise
biographies of artists from every significant field of endeavor and have been recognised as prestigious reference documents, as
source and challenge for the private and public art collectors, for gallerists, librarians, artists and museum and education
professionals. They are all collected and archived by German National Library, and since 2012 the editions of Who's Who in Visual
Art have even been serving as accompanying educational materials for art education at a range of primary and secondary schools in
the Free States of Saxony and Thuringia.
At the end of 2015 the first edition of Art Compass - The Comprehensive List of Approved Living Artists is published to serve
as a standard reference book, as orientation and source for the whole art world.
