|
Palm Art Award (PAA) is
granted to artists of all visual media, i.e. painting, graphics,
tapestry, digital art, sculpture. The competition seeks to attract
in particular emerging artists complying with or even redefining
standards of art excellence. Every applicant has to submit 3
artworks. |

The competition includes
a three-step selection process, viz (1) Preliminaries, (2) Final Round (Nomination),
and (3) Award Selection |

PRELIMINARIES |
|
APPLICATION |
|
Inquiries can be simply made
by E-mail Form. Just click here! Be
prepared to submit the following data: Name, Address, Country,
Website. Done this, please, send jpg-images (600 pix referring
to the length) and details (title, technique, size, year of creation)
for your three artworks by email to info@art-domain.com.
(Please understand that we only accept artworks up to the dimension
of approx. 80x100cm as for all 2-dimensional works, resp. up
to 12 kgs. as for each single sculpture.) Please note, a small
administration fee of 28 Euro is due upon application. You will
be provided with payment data right after application. |

COMPETITORS

As soon as your application
is completed, your works will be added to the Preliminaries Catalog. See a sample

FINAL
ROUND & PRIZE GIVING |
|
Among all competitors the
jury will select 70 finalists with their respective works
for inclusion in Art Domain Gallery's 2009 exhibition schedule. Exhibition
dates will be arranged with the selected artists based on the
existing schedule. |

FINALISTS
EXHIBITIONS |
|
The exhibitions will be held
for 8 weeks each in Art
Domain Gallery, Leipzig. Artists may participate
with three artworks. The exhibitions are seen by the gallery's
regular visitors and are of course included in the gallery's
regular sales promotion activities. The gallery takes
care for announcement and advertising via press, and for
printing of invitation cards and posters for each event.
Each finalist gets a virtual catalog to be included in
the Inventory
Catalog to serve as unlimited reference book at our
website. Each exhibition will be opened by reception with buffet for the purpose
of sales promotion. |

Every finalist will be listed
at no cost in the online version of 'Who's Who in Visual
Arts' and gets option and rebate for inclusion in the printed
edition of 'Who's Who in Visual Arts' to be
published every two years. |
|
Artists selected for the final
round meaning the inclusion in one of the 8 Palm Art Award Exhibitions
with three artworks are asked to pay a reservation fee of 158
Euro (+VAT*) upon signing the exhibition contract.
*If you are from any EU country
(excluding Germany) and you can provide a valid VAT ID-number,
you have to pay only 158 Euros (fee without VAT). A second gallery
fee of 199 Euro is due 8 weeks before the opening of the exhibition. |

PRIZE GIVING |
At the end of the year the
jury will
select the winners to assign to them the 'Palm Art Award'. The total prize
money is at least 8000 Euro (depenting on our sponsors' goodwill).
The awards will be officially given to the winners on a special
reception with press and film in Art-Domain Gallery. |
